    Fast-forward fifteen years: the young man will be an agnostic salesman with a pent-house apartment in Cincinatti; the young woman will be a pole dancer going through her second divorce. (Back off, Twombly. Okay: I wish them both well. Just sad that they don’t have [or least appear to have] a faith that will carry them through “the changes and chances of this mortal life.” For those who receive the Word on rocky soil, they take it in for awhile with joy; but when the going gets tough, they often fall away. Hope these kids find a nice [Anglican?] congregation before the crash.)

    …these kids aren’t even 10 years old yet…maybe 10 at the oldest. i think they’ll be fine. we are all guilty of being uneducated at one point or another in our lives. let them get older and grow up, they will learn.
