Miniblog #101: Realizing Anew Just How Far I’ve Come

Today is a day of realizing anew just how far I’ve come–or digressed, depending upon your interpretation:

1. A college roommate accused me of being politically OCD. I just removed every story about the 2012 election from my newsfeed.
2. Come to think of it, I don’t know who’s winning a single NBA division. What the?
3. My junior year of high school I had to ask a Catholic friend to explain Lent. Now on facebook I see little but black ashes on foreheads.
4. The last three hours have reaffirmed God’s calling upon the life. That brings me hope rather than sorrow.  
5. This afternoon I heard Johnny Cash on the radio… and I turned it up.

Life is bizarre.
